The boat is about 11″ tall, by 8″ long, by 4″ wide.

This beautiful entirely handmade unique stained glass sailboat features amazing, now rare, amethyst stained glass, wispy pale blue and royal blue stained glass sails. I made the boat using the copper foil method and came for the deck and mast. The periwinkle blue stained glass deck gives the boat a ghostly sleek and magical look.

I originally used these colours at the request of a young couple celebrating their first anniversary in Victoria, BC. They have kindly allowed me to use versions of the combinationfor other boats.

The glass sailboat is a scale model of my own design, and detail has been added using copper wire. I have cut and soldered a steering wheel/helm, boom, strut, cables, ties, rope coils, portholes for the cabin, and hatches.

The boat is a wonderful conversation piece, a great gift for a retiree planning to spend his or her retirement sailing, or a beautiful addition to a unique designer living, dining or bathroom area.

This piece can be made to order, using any colour glass, or check out my other listings for something in a different model. I make trawlers, sloops, and gaff riggers. I also make really large schooners by special order.
