This beautiful, sturdy, entirely handmade 3d model stained glass trawler features a scaled down version of a trawler made using the copper foil and lead came methods. It is a scale model composite of several different boats, and detail has been added using copper wire. I have cut and soldered the boom, strut, cables, ties,, portholes for the cabin, from 18, 14, and 10 gauge copper wire. I built a search light for the top of the cabin, and there are tiny windows and a front deck on the cabin.
Dimensions

The boat is about 10″ tall, by 6 ” long, by 4″ wide.

This piece can be made to order, using any colour glass, or check out my other boats for something in a different model. I make trawlers, tugboats, sloops, and gaff riggers. I have also made really large schooners, by special order, and there is a photo of a 22″ x 24″ blue ketch.
