Handmade from rare aqua blue stained glass sailboat was originally designed as second prize in the International Highland Dance Competition.  It inspired competitors to do their very best!

Dimensions and Construction

I have used aqua blue stained glass for the sails, deep turquoise for the deck and white for the hull, cabin and hatch. The boat measures 18″ tall x 11″ long x 4″ wide. It has a miniature anchor, a helm, and is fully rigged. All the railings, rigging and the anchor and helm are made from copper wire. I have used lead free silver solder to construct the boat.

This gorgeous one of a kind boat can be displayed in your foyer, living room or study as a conversation starter, given as a special gift to that someone in your life that loves boating, and water. If this one isn’t to your taste, I can make it in any colour you like, or check out the rest of the marine selections in my shop. I make a smaller cutter, a trawler, a sloop, or can custom design any boat from a photograph of the sides, deck, and back of your boat.
